My piano teacher said it sounds too finger-y when I play Bach (probably other pieces too, if not more so.) I just started noticing that I do unconciously lift my fingers REALLY high~ I cannot do pedal well => I cannot drive, or vice versa? probably neither… I cannot do pedal well because I’m not cut out for music~ I cannot drive because if I’m genotyped, I’ll contribute a new Unc allele…
That’s what I was thinking when my teacher wants me to FEEL how to add pedals and play more expressively…big sigh
